Greening the Beige Comes to a Climax

Greening the Beige is taking place right now, with a series of exciting eco-friendly events around the city. Tonight we have the GREEN TRIVIA PUB QUIZ at Napa Bar & Restaurant in Fangjia Hutong, that will sizzle your green wits and reward your sustainable knowledge with prizes from Club Football, iF Juice, Immersion Guides, and The World Health Store! Tomorrow night (Thursday, November 26) at the same venue, Greening the Beige will untie your green tongue - in Chinese or English - with a GREEN COCKTAIL SOCIAL featuring musical guest performances by Molly's Chandelery and the talented Jess Meider. Leave your stage fright at home and step on stage to make a “green speech” in your non-native tongue to win a copy of Jess' recently released album, Divine. Free English and Chinese Language Corners (thanks to the Hutong School), and free entry, from 8-11pm.

Last but definitely not least, Greening the Beige is rounding up it’s 2009 series of events with a GRAND FINALE this Saturday, November 28. There will be a recycled film workshop hosted by Electric Shadows and a sustainable community bazaar in the afternoon, followed by an evening with Pecha Kucha Beijing, plus the third annual Eco-Fashion Show featuring WillowWillow couture, DimSum all things Asian designs, and Raffles School of Design.

In addition Acupuncture Records DJs and friends, guest VJs (PIEN new art media), and out of the ordinary organic performances presented by Natooke will keep the crowd entertained.
