Oh Yes It's Ladies Night

It’s a happy day for the fairer sex, and if getting a half day off work isn’t enough, then here are a few events to check out for International Women's Day, celebrating “the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future”.

The two big events of the week are the Varieté Show at Penghao Theater which goes from March 10-13. All proceeds from this show will assist female entrepreneurs from rural China start their own businesses through the Wokai Foundation.

March 11 is the International Women’s Day Benefit at Yishu 8. Jo Ling Kent’s annual cocktail benefit includes a silent auction, networking and women-to-women mentorship opportunities.
