2011 Reader Bar & Club Awards: And The Winner Is …
The votes are in, counted, and all will be revealed at Thursday night’s Awards and After-party at Tango. Is Beijing’s best bar a trendy cocktail lounge in a modern high rise or a chilled out drinking spot nestled in the hutongs? Is it neither? Are you more interested in what you can drink at the party? Find out at the the Beijinger's 8th Annual Reader Bar & Club Awards, on TheBeijinger.com blog or in the June issue of the Beijinger.
The Awards party kicks of at 6pm this Thursday (May 19) at Tango 3rd Floor for restaurant and bar owners, F&B professionals, scenesters and anyone else lucky enough to get their hands on VIP tickets. The Awards show will be hosted by local music legend Helen Feng with DJ Bitesize Buddha funking it up alongside her and VJ Xponja delighting your eyeballs.
If you've not got your hands on a golden ticket then the party opens to the public at 9pm and will be all-you-can-drink until midnight, followed by drink tickets for RMB 20. Get tickets at the door for RMB 100. Stay tuned to TheBeijinger.com blog for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the VIP party.
On hand to offer the night’s entertainment will be DJ Gaby Dershin all the way from New York, DJ Blackie, DJ Nassdak plus SambAsia, the Chocolate dancers and a special interactive art treat from El Tono.
More importantly, those all-you-can-drink drinks will be provided by Stella Artois, Boddingtons, Kiss Natural, Kasteel Bier, IceFox Vodka, Hana Gin, Grand Marnier, Tonga Island Rum, Viva Mojo Tequila, Alize, Fizze Wine and Saratoga Natural Spring Water. That's not to mention the food from Ole Spanish Restaurant, Moment Cafe, A Food Affaire, Bon Bon Bins and Haru Sushi or the most bumper of bumper goodie bags.
