Olympic Expedition: Day 25-31
The boys from Brazil have now been on the road for one solid month. Despite some early setbacks, namely the loss of Thunder Love, they've managed to keep on track and are still on schedule to arrive in London in time for the opening ceremony. In the last week, they've continued on through Iran, Armenia and Georgia.
Despite the loss of their car, the guys have made their way along the planned route on a number of vehicles, from bus to car and even the occasional donkey. Next time we hear from the guys (in Turkey) they may be back behind the wheel of a new car.
The guys spent two days sightseeing in Armenia from the military monuments in Yerevan to the monasteries of Alaverdi. Getting into Georgia two days ahead of schedule, on the evening of Day 28, the three travelers got to see Tbilisi and swim in the Black Sea at Batumi. On Day 30, they set off for Samsun, Turkey via "three buses and two taxis."
