Enter the Beijinger's Beijing Photography Contest

Hello, Beijing. We want all you photographers out there to show us your best shots of the city for our upcoming 11th Anniversary issue in October. The only requirements are that the photo is of Beijing and it was taken in 2012 (so no raiding your archives). If you want to take a moody black-and-white still, that’s fine. If you’d rather frame the scene like the current celebrity craze for body surfing, well, that’s OK too. Anything and everything is eligible – people, places, plants, animals, transport, weather, sport, you name it. We just want you to capture Beijing as it captures you.

Once we have the fruits of your labor, we’ll be picking the best. Prizes for the winning photos will include tickets to our Anniversary party, the Beijinger-branded merchandise and the immortality of your work appearing in print.

To submit a photograph, just send a hi-res image of the photo (accompanied by a snappy title) to thebeijingerphotos@gmail.com. Images need to be received by August 31. Now get snapping.
