Where to Watch The Ashes: Cricket's Greatest Rivalry Resumes Thursday
The greatest international rivalry in sports that won't potentially end in a nuclear exchange is The Ashes – the series of five, five-day tests between England and Australia that serves as the bedrock of Anglo-Aussie bragging rights until Christmas (when they start again down under).
With home side England having taken the first test in a truly nail-biting encounter which ended last Sunday, both sides are keen on winning the second, which resumes tonight (Jul 18) at 6pm Beijing time.
While cricket has an avid, global following, its broadcasting rights situation is not favorable to viewers living in Beijing. However, The Den, Plan B, and now The Local have told us that they will have first ball at 6pm, via internet stream.
Know of another place to watch The Ashes? Anybody got a satellite feed that works? Please let us know in the Comments section below.
Update: Karl Long informs us that Paddy O'Shea's is "currently showing a good quality stream of The Ashes." Cheers, Karl!
