Sneak Peek: Matta Joins September Restaurant Week Line Up

Mark your calendars, Restaurant Week is back for its sixth edition this September 4-14. Those of you who've participated in Restaurant Week before will know that it's a great way to sample some of the city's more expensive restaurants at a reasonable price, with set lunches starting from RMB 78 and set dinners starting from RMB 168. Public bookings go live on August 26, including those for new restaurants such as Matta and Morton's.

We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the set menu for Matta, which is preparing for its first foray into Restaurant Week having only opened earlier in the year. Located just inside Gongti West Gate, the food is strictly modern Italian, although judging by the crisp bread we were served to start, they knock out a mean pizza too. The menu below will be available for dinner during restaurant week in the RMB 258 category.
