Poll: Chinese Women Turn to Sex Toys as Men Can't Get It Up

A poll of 10,000 Chinese released over the weekend indicates almost 98 percent of all women have purchased sex toys while 55 percent of men have trouble getting hard, China Daily reports.

The report was compiled by the Chinese Medical Association's Society of Andrology and the China Sexology Association and was sponsored by Pfizer (the makers of Viagra, don'tcha know).

The poll talked to over 10,000 respondents. Despite the relative youth of the male respondents (90 percent of those polled were younger than 35), only 55 percent could get an "erection hardness" score of four, which is described as like "a fresh cucumber," whereas a score of one was described as "bean curd."

As if all these grim-sounding stats and off-putting food analogies weren't enough, only 37 percent of all respondents rated their sex life as very satisfactory. Twenty-one percent of all women said they never experienced orgasm.

Ladies looking for that first orgasm would do well to steer clear of the men in the auto industry, where 41 percent of the dudes report that they can only get an erection score of one or two.

Trawling hospitals may lead to better prospects: men working for hospitals ranked tops in the survey for quality of sex life, with over 25 percent of the medical men reporting their love sessions typically exceeded 30 minutes and 77 percent claiming they regularly reached the top of the hardness scale (whether that's due to their access to the office stash of Viagra or their general sexual prowess is left open to the imagination).

Men in the real estate business get it on most frequently, where as career civil servants get the least amount of action. Among the ladies, those in the manufacturing business 'make babies' most frequently, whereas the ladies in the medical profession get jiggy the least. Looks as if the men in their business are making their bootie calls far from their place of work.
