Melt the Ice With a Solid Weekend of Hot Nightlife Events

Even though the temperature has been painfully dropping into those frigid negative temperatures, things will be heating up on the nightlife beat this week with these amazing events. So get out before your social life gets frozen solid binge watching Ru Paul's Drag Race or some other alternative reality programming.

Dec 4: Boys Noize
The biggest event this week is definitely the triumphant return of German producer/DJ, Boys Noize. He has remixed tunes from some of the biggest artists in the industry including Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, and The Chemical Brothers in his appropriately coined nu-electro style. No one will be safe from his infectious style of dirty grooves meant to envelop the masses in a dance floor frenzy.

The gig will take place at Circle Club, Gongti's newest home for inebriated, EDM fueled excitement. Tickets will set you back RMB 200, or RMB 150 (advance).

Dec 5: Salud Beiluoguxiang Opening Party
Next up, NLGX's premier party spot, Salud, is expanding to another location on Beiluoguxiang. Not very far from their original digs, they are adopting the 7-11 model of conquering a neighborhood with the convenience of moderately priced drinks and a comfortable lounge style atmosphere. The opening party is this Friday, starting at 7pm with DJ Dayong in the house spinning some groovy tunes and a free welcoming drink when you arrive. You can also expect some fantastic specials on draft Chimay (RMB 15), infused rum (RMB 10), and infused vodka (RMB 15).

Dec 6: 8-Bit's 1 Year Anniversary
8-Bit is celebrating its first year on the nightlife circuit this Saturday, with an extensive challenge of classic video game skills and mind melting electronic music from Noise Arcade. We couldn’t think of a better soundtrack to this cut throat Nintendo challenge.

Join in on their very own version of the 1990 Nintendo World Championships, where contestants will play timed versions of Super Mario Bros, Rad Racer, and Tetris to determine who is the Nintendo wizard of Beijing. A special prize will be awarded at the end of the competition, but everyone will win with their amazing drink specials, consisting of RMB 10 Kirin pints and RMB 15 shots.

Dec 6: Antidote Presents: Jon Kennedy (UK) and Rumpistol (Denmark)
Finally on Saturday, Antidote will be hosting yet another thumping night of nasty multifaceted electronic music, that will be traversing genres like trip hop, glitch and a little crunchy 8-bit on the side from Jon Kennedy (UK) and Rumpistol (Denmark). The walls will sweat from this epic night of progressive tunes. This starts at 10pm and bring RMB 50 for the door.
