Ho-Ho-Hutong! Christmas Comes to Life at The Hutong's 2014 Winter Fayre Dec 13

With the weather hitting minus temperatures these days, don’t you ever feel the urge to drink piping hot cups of vin brulé whilst stretching your legs out with family and friends, old and new? Well, this doesn’t just sound too good to be true – The Hutong is holding their Winter Fayre this weekend, and with the key-to-one’s-heart theme of “warm-winter,” it’s an experience that must be ticked off our Christmas lists.

In keeping with tradition of the Christmas Bazaar, the fayre, to be held on Saturday, December 13 from 11am to 4pm, will feature plenty of unique and creative pieces to make shopping easy this festive season. And the Beijinger is excited to announce that it has partnered with The Hutong to bring this rendezvous to life.

What is a fayre?

The term ‘fayre’ originates from England and refers to a convivial gathering that consists of local produce and products created by, sourced from, and connected to the local community. Indulge in a variety of homemade jams, teas, baked treats, and chocolates, while feasting your eyes on handcrafted goods, stunning photography, jewelry, artwork, activities, and impeccably designed cards on offer.

The Hutong’s Winter Fayre will encapsulate a festive environment filled with all sorts of holiday spirit. Participating vendors include: BJ Postcards, Great Leap Brewery, Little Animal Knitwear, Puddington Pies, Peau de Fée, Tai Tai, Tea Journeys, TooToo Organic Farm, Starfish Jewelry, Taozi Tree Yoga, Shangrila Farms, Ubi Gallery, Rager Pies, Cuju, Sweet Tooth Bakery, and many more.

Why can’t Saturday arrive sooner?
