Celebrate Beijing's Favorite Pastime with Beijing Brunch Week Starting Saturday
We've said it before and we'll say it again, brunch is somewhat of a sport in Beijing. New women's lifestyle WeChat account Ni's (妳的, WeChat account: nidenis) have decided to take advantage of this to launch their first ever Beijing's Brunch Week, which will run this weekend (Apr 18-19) and next (Apr 25-26).
Ni's state that they are "dedicated to making Chinese womens' lives better, more meaningful and more colorful by introducing diverse and progressive lifestyles and encouraging them to try new things." As well as brunch, in the past they have covered everything from boxing to baking, offering featuring inspirational local women as role models.
They have teamed up with some of Beijing's best purveyors of this fine in-between meal to offer special deals and set menus to their WeChat subscribers, or anyone who is a fan of brunch! All you need to do is share their brunch post on your WeChat moments, then show it to the staff at whichever restaurant you pick. Click this link or scan the QR code below to access the post (only in Chinese for the moment).
Check out the deals each restaurant is offering below (where no date is specified the deals are available both weekends):
Bistrot B – RMB 402 for a three course menu
Flamme – free coffee or tea with every brunch. Spend RMB 150 to receive a glass of sparkling wine or slice of cheesecake
29 Grill – RMB 488 for their Sunday roast carvery
III MISSA – RMB 198 for a three course menu including a drink
MOKA Bros – 15 percent off the entire menu all day (all week from April 18-26)
Niajo – RMB 198 for a six course, tapas-style menu, including coffee and a cocktail
NOLA – free cocktail for every diner
The Rug – Special "Ni's" set menus available from April 18-26
Vineyard Cafe – 10 percent off brunch dishes
The Woods – special brunch menu just for Ni's, free coffee
Two of my personal top picks would definitely be The Rug and Bistro B. The Rug, which has long been one of our favorite brunch destinations, is offering three different set brunch menus all week long, so you can avoid the weekend rush. Over at Bistro B, in the Rosewood Beijing, their RMB 402 menu is an absolute steal considering the quality of the food and their usual pricing.
