Air China to Fly to Hakodate; Dragonair Serves Sureno

With weather like we've been having lately, why would anyone want to travel? Alas, it'll be 37 degrees later this week, and even Southeast Asia in the summer will sound like welcome relief.

We'll be doing more on Japan later this week, but Air China just announced it's commencing direct service from Beijing to Hakodate, a port city in Hokkaido. We're huge Hokkaido fans, and if you ever wanted to eat seafood, then maybe book yourself onto this inaugural flight.

Dragonair has renewed its agreement with The Opposite House's restaurant Sureno to continue offering signature meals to first class and business-class passengers. The second year of the agreement will feature more Mediterranean-themed items, and quite a bit of lobster, it appears. Dragonair passengers will also continue to enjoy dishes from the China World Hotel's Summer Palace restaurant and The Opposite House's Jing Yaa Tang.

We're packing for a big post on Thursday, so more travel news and tips then. One road flat safe and all that.
