July 8: Redfoo and The Party Rock Crew Live
We give you permission to start the weekend early with this tasty nugget at Club Sir Teen. Redfoo, one of the crazy minds behind LMFAO, will be performing live with The Party Rock Crew. IF you’ve listened to his raunchy solo work then you know that it will be an ass-tastic throw down of epic proportions. Entry is free, but you will need to RSVP to gain entry (8821 9999). 10pm. July 10: Dome
Under the dome at Lantern you will experience the sonic ecstasy of modern metropolitan life with four up-and-coming DJs showcasing a blistering selection of bass, electro, and techno. It will be deep and unrelenting till the wee hours of the morning. Don’t expect a lecture about Buckminster Fuller, because what you’ll get here is a dystopian mind warp with an obligatory amount of dirty dancing. Free. 10pm. Lantern
July 10: Neon Moons
The last attempt had to be cancelled due to bad weather. This time, they are back with a vengeance, bringing a naughty little slice of those legendary full moon beach parties over to Gongti, NB Noise will you have you thrashing late into the morning at Beijing’s newest terrace, Uper+ with this Neon Moon party. Like any good full moon beach party, you can expect plenty of UV lighting, complimentary neon body & face painting, all you can drink summer cocktails (RMB 100) until 12am, and a giant full moon for all to rage under. July 12: Eclectic Electric Presents David Hohme
From competing with some of the world's top DJs on VH1's Master of the Mix to marathon sunrise sets at the infamous American music festival, Burning Man, David Hohme has solidified himself as a mainstay in the underground house music scene. He brings his unique sound to Lantern, which is opening its doors specially on a Sunday (a rare occurrence) to host him, with support from Half/N/Half and Pierre Camerossi. Free. 10pm. Lantern
