Burn Some Rubber at the Festival of Speed Oct 2-4

This weekend the sound of squealing rubber and roaring engines will reverberate across the Jingang Autodrome at Beijing's Jinzhan Village in the northeast Chaoyang District as that locale hosts the first-ever Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Festival of Speed.

Car enthusiasts from the Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei motor sports associations will gather to act out their The Fast and The Furious wet dreams on the course from Oct. 2-4, while spectators can witness the a variety of races and hopefully catch some face time with some hot racecar chicks.

The event will also feature live music, a skateboard challenge match and an outdoor food plaza to keep hunger at bay.

On Oct. 4 awards will be given in numerous categories including Motorcade Champion of the Year, Champion Driver of the Year, Fastest One-Loop Awards, Rookie of the Year,Motor King of the North, and the coveted Driver with Loving Heart Award, presumably given to that one driver who hit it off with the most car models.
