All-You-Can-Eat Ultimate Street Food Fest at Kerry Hotel, Until Sep 11

Now that the all-you-can-eat Malaysian Food Fest at New World Beijing Hotel is over, you may still be craving more Southeast Asian food. Thankfully, Kerry Hotel Beijing is currently holding their Ultimate Street Food Fest until September 11 with a vibrant food buffet.

Led by Malaysian Executive Chef Alan Wong, the buffet features more than 40 authentic Southeast Asian street foods from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Expect huge helpings of lor mee (braised yellow noodles with egg gravy), satay (grilled mixed meat in skewers with peanut sauce), lok lok (assorted skewered ingredients dipped in hot pot), orh chien (oyster omelet), fried carrot cake, pad Thai, som tam (green papaya salad), ayam penyet (Indonesian-style roasted chicken), Vietnamese spring rolls, sinigang (Filipino savory soup), pancit Canton (fried egg noodles) and halo-halo (shaved ice with evaporated milk and syrup), as well as mountains of our favorite prawn rice crackers and bubur cha cha.

The buffet runs until September 11, and costs RMB 318 for lunch or RMB 338 for dinner from Monday to Friday, or RMB 388 for brunch on weekends (all plus service charge and VAT) at Kerry’s Kitchen on the first floor of Kerry Hotel. There will also be a lucky draw for 10 two-night stays at Shangri-La Hotels across the Southeast Asian countries represented at the buffet. Anyone who spends a minimum of RMB 500 is eligible for entry. Contact 8565 2088 for reservations.
