Pop Punch at Mesh
The Opposite House's Mesh club continues its weekly '80s, '90s, and '00s pop party. DJ Juhstynn will sping those tunes, and so-called "dangerously large punch bowls" (RMB 268) and special cocktails (RMB 68) will be available on a buy-one-get-one-free basis from 7-9pm. Wasabi Sound 8 Years Anniversary at Lantern
"Founded in January 2010 ... Wasabi Sound is one of Beijing’s leading underground monthly events," say the coordinators of this anniversary party, slated for this Friday at Lantern. DJs like Wasabi Sound founder Eric Lee, Ouyang, 2MM and more will be on hand to wish this well-established party series a happy birthday. 9.30pm. RMB 50. Lantern
Flower Power Party at Bodensee Kitchen
Get ready to go retro at one of the last venues in town that you'd ever expect to party at. No, it's not a conventional nightclub, but instead German restaurant Bodensee Kitchen (read our recent review here), which will be converted for this Friday night to host a '70s and '80s flower-themed party. Unconventional, to say the least, but most certainly memorable. 8.30pm. RMB 50. Bodensee Kitchen

Techno Rules at Aurora
After throwing a banging opening party last weekend, this Tongli newbie keeps the momentum going with sets by Tucoco+sunk, Eva Xu, BB Deng, and Aida. Expect pulse sounding techno rhythms and dynamic beats, which the owners are hoping will help set them apart from their more EDM-centric Gongti neighbors. Pretty Cold at Dada
The name doesn't just refer to the weather. Pretty Cold is in fact the name of a DJ collective that create "coldwave, minimal synth, and post-punk in the contemporary Chinese soundscape," according to the coordinators. 10pm. Price TBD. Dada
Be Stupid at Lantern
Anton, Sung Meng and Kaize and other DJ's will be on hand for this ongoing party series that lives up to its name by bringing stupefyingly good rhythms. 11pm. RMB 50. Lantern

Salsa and Kizomba Nights at Migas Mercado
Miss the Latin-tinged parties at Migas tragically shuttered Nali Patio location? Then you're in luck. The newer CBD branch is giving new life to their popular salsa and kizomba parties every Monday and Tuesday, helping you to you dance away the early week blues. 9pm. Free entry. Migas Mercado
