Innovating Entrepreneurship for the Digital Economy
In this two-week program, you will get to learn about what it takes to build a successful career in the new digital global economy, get a chance to meet and connect with leaders and learn about internship opportunities, and learn about exchange program opportunities in international universities. As this course has already begun, online registration is closed, but students may still register at the door each morning. RMB 200 (course fee can be waived for students needing financial help). 9.30am-12.30pm. The Third Annual Schwarzman Women's Conference "Powerful and Empowered Women"
In celebration of International Women's Day, this two-day conference puts powerful and empowered women center stage, such as Christine Lam, the CEO of Citibank China, Hao Jinfang, a Chinese science fiction writer and Hugo Award winner, and Xiaoyan (Charlene) Ren, founder and director of water conservation company MyH20. The event is a chance to hear from women on navigating the working world, making effective career decisions, demystifying male mentorship, women's work, and leadership outcomes. Free. 8am-6pm. Celebrate Women's Day with 'Las Sufragistas' and 'Batallas Intimas'
The Mexican Embassy in China and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) welcomes you to this two-day event to celebrate the International Women's Day. To mark the occasion, they'll screen two movies (with Spanish and English subtitles): Las Sufragitas (The Suffragettes), a documentary by Mexican director Ana Cruz on Friday, Mar 8, and Batallas Intimas (Intimate Battles) by Mexican director Lucía Gajá on Saturday, Mar 9. Free (ID required). 7pm. 4/F, Library Auditorium, Beijing Foreign Students University

Shine Bright in the Night: Tsinghua Shining Run 2019
Nothing planned this Sunday night? Why not spend it with your friends, getting some moonlit exercise at the Shine Bright in the Night Shining run. The first 2,019 people to sign up will receive a Shining Run Kit, which includes an event T-shirt, glow sticks, and s glowing wristband. Free. 6.30-9pm. Tsinghua University
