German DJ, producer, and Affin label boss Joachim Spieth has had a long an auspicious career and lays claim to having one of the earliest releases on Michael Mayer's hugely influential Kompakt imprint. DJ Yama Mellow Groove Party
Japan's DJ Yama hits up Fruityspace on Saturday, bringing with him choice cuts of funk, soul, jazz, and other rare records. Support comes courtesy of DJ Jeffery and Fruity Group. RMB 120. 9.30pm. Fruityspace

Gong Gong Dance Club
Gong Gong Dance Club hasn't seen the light of day (or dark of night for that matter) for a long time following its first outing, lying in bed with what the organizer's call a "two-year hangover." Throwback Hip-Hop Party

Konekt Asia presents: Molly
Over at Zhao Dai this Saturday Konekt Asia presents DJ/producer Molly (pictured at top), a visionary artist of Paris' electronic music scene and the core member of the French capital's prestigious Rex Club, acting as both its long-term resident DJ and PR manager. Following the release of her first EP SB Relief on Parisian label AKU in 2017, she has since become the first female musician to be released on the booming Weimar, Germany-based label Giegling. Underground Movements presents: Shlømo
Parisian DJ and founder of Taapion Records, Shlømo, is a young heavyweight in the French techno underground whose sound blossomed from his early love of French and American hip-hop, sitting somewhere now that's "at the crossroad of techno, electronica, and original movie soundtracks." RMB 80, RMB 50 (advance)10.30pm doors.
