Celebrate Labor Day with a Few 'Make Up' Weekend Working Days!

Another holiday -- Labor Day, aka May Day -- is upon us in two weeks. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the workers of the world than with an extra weekend "make up" day!

For folks who have their weekend plans sorted out, this is a reminder that you will have to work an extra day this Sunday to earn your holiday.

This Labor Day Holiday lasts for five days in total, not without two makeup days before and after the holiday though. You will be required to "make up" the "lost" work days on Apr 24 (this coming Sunday) and May 7.

Here’s a rundown of what to expect this coming May Holiday.

Make up days are notoriously unproductive and we hate working weekends. But the only great news is during this period, starting from Apr 30 to May 4, highways will be free of any charge for folks planning to travel to suburban Beijing.

Following Labor Day, there's another coming holiday in June (Dragon Boat Festival) before a long stretch and holidays in the fall. Check out the official 2022 Holiday calendar here, which is big on three day weekends.

Until then, don't forget to set up an alarm on Saturday night to get ready for a working weekend this Sunday!
