Prepare to be Entertained By These Performers at The Belt & Road Food Fest
Not only will this weekend’s Belt & Road Food Fest be bringing fantastic food from across the globe, but also some amazing entertainment that you definitely won’t want to miss! With a stunning line up of acts from a range of belt and road countries get yourself down to Langyuan Station from Sep 10-12 to take part in all the fun. Plus entry is absolutely FREE!
Now, let’s check out just what’s in store…
DJ Peng
Kicking things off at the festival will be DJ Peng, bringing a mix of electronic dance music to the stage. A self-taught DJ he is now a certified musician of NetEase Cloud Music and plays regularly in Beijing at popular bars like Modernista.
Afro-Gents
Bringing Afro-fusion to the stage, Afro-Gents blend styles of music like R&B, reggae and hip-hop with Afrobeats. They also cover a wide range of genres with everything from jazz to neo soul or blues, but keep Afrobeats at the heart of their music.
Latin Rockers
Always guaranteed to be one hell of a good time, Beijinger festival veterans the Latin Rockers bring some of the best music from Latin America and Spain. Think of hits from the likes of Mana, Hombres G, Soda Stereo, Enanitos Verdes, Molotov and more and you've got a picture of what's in store.
LazyLAB
Chinese band LazyLAB, who've been performing together since 2021, are made up of lead singer A Yue, guitarists Xiuju, Baobao and A Xin, bassist A Si and drummer A Cong. They like to bend the rules of music and bring a unique style that’s a combination of country, blues, rock, light jazz and pop.
Savor LaTino
Founded way back in 2005, this award winning Beijing based band is made up of musicians from Venezuela, Cuba and Colombia. With plenty of Latin beats and salsa vibes this is definitely a band that will get you up and dancing.
Belly Dancer Candy
You can expect lots of fun, belly dancing action with Candy.
SAZON
Bringing an interactive set to the stage is SAZON Cuban Dance School who have been delivering the most up-to-beat Cuban dance culture and trends to China since 2016. Sazon consists of professional Cuban dancers whose expertise is not only limited to Cuban dance but popular dance from around the world. When they perform there’s sure to be plenty of laughs and fun.
DJ Ennoe-Alpha
DJ Ennoe-Alpha joined the entertainment scene in 2018. He blends a mix of tracks from genres such as reggae, reggae dub step, Afrobeats, deep house and funky house.
African Vibe
For even more interactive fun, African Vibe will be bringing some African dance to the stage.
DJ Arquitect
If you’ve ever been to a previous Beijinger event then you’ll already be familiar with Cuban DJ Dairon Cardona, AKA DJ Arquitect. One of Beijing’s most popular Latin Music DJs he plays a mix of Latin, Afro, Caribbean and house music to create great energy on the dance floor.
To take part in the fun you just need to get yourself to Langyuan Station.
Simply show up from Saturday, Sep 10 to Monday, Sep 12, 11am-8.30pm (must have NAT results with 72 hours validity to enter).
Although Langyuan Station is a bit hard to reach by public transit, the venue will be offering shuttle buses throughout the entirety of the food fest to help guests get to and from the event – leaving and returning to Qingnian Lu Subway Station throughout the day (schedule below).
Shuttle Bus Schedule:
From Qingnian Lu Subway Station Exit C: 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm, 5pm, 6.30pm
To Qingnian Lu Subway Station Exit C: 4.30pm, 6pm, 8.30pm
Don’t plan on taking the shuttle? No problem, just give your driver the address below if you’re going by Didi, or you can drive yourself there if you so choose.
