Dance the Weekend Away at JinShang's International Dance Fest, Aug 12

This Saturday you’ll be able to literally dance your day away at JinShang’s first ever International Dance Fest.

Starting bright and early at 10am and going ‘til 9pm, there will not only be dance demonstrations by dance experts from Beijing and the rest of China, but also live music and a slew of free activities like fitness demos and dance workshops throughout the day.

As for styles of dance, there will be practically everything from Kathak, a classical Indian form of dance presented by Du Juan, to salsa, presented by DanceFam and Mambo Jack, bachata, presented by YunDong Salsa and William Herrero, and even Afro and House dance styles.

Workshops for some of the aforementioned dances will be available if you’d like to try them out yourself, and you can put your skills to the test with a dance-off competition in the afternoon. There will also be a fitness demo and personal training assessment by Angelo of ActivForever.

There will also be an international bazaar happening during the entirety of the event, where local makers will be selling cultural products, handicrafts, food, and drinks all day long.

The International Dance Fest & Bazaar will be happening on Sat, Aug 12, from 10am to 9pm at JinShang Square. Tickets are RMB 50 per person, and can be purchased by scanning the QR code in the poster.
