Anniversaries Galore! Celebrations at Mulu, Pebbles and Morton’s
It is always great to see places in the F&B industry thriving, especially given the difficulties over the past few years. Which is why we’re super excited to see three Beijing spots celebrating anniversaries this week. We’ve got Nanyang-French cuisine restaurant MULU, Mexican Restaurant Pebbles and Morton’s Steakhouse all marking anniversaries with special deals and offers, so let’s take a look at what’s in store.
MULU Hutong Celebrates Their “Big Two”
MULU Hutong is celebrating two years of Chef Addison Liew becoming the Chef Patron as well as the second birthday of his and wife Jasmine K’s daughter Adia. In 2021 Addison left his 18 year long career in the hotel industry and married MULU’s founder Jasmine and they had Adia that same year.
To celebrate this “Big Two” they’ve got a special festive dinner menu running from now until Feb 8. On the menu will be classics like Nanyang Egg Tart, lkan Bakar and Addison’s take on Hakka Yellow Wine Chicken, which was inspired by daughter Adia. They’re also running a special promotion where both dinner and their weekend brunch will be priced at RMB 688 (usual price RMB 1,288). MULU is by reservation only so you’ll need to book in advance via one of the numbers or WeChat ID below.

Pebbles 14th Anniversary Specials and Deals
Opened in 2009 by Ray Heng, Pebbles has grown to become one of Beijing’s most popular Mexican eateries. With an impressive menu that includes rarities like a Tamales Thursday and an exemplary agave spirits collection, it’s easy to see why they’re such a fan favorite!
They will be celebrating their 14th anniversary on Dec 25, and in the lead up to the big day they’ve got some amazing deals running from 5pm, Dec 22-25. Specials include Pebbles Mole, free Menudo, six tacos for RMB 100, all agave spirits half price and buy one get one free on 3-4 cocktails.

Morton’s Steakhouse’s Big 45th Anniversary Bash
The first ever Morton’s Steakhouse was opened up way back in 1978 in Chicago, meaning they’ll soon be celebrating their 45th anniversary! This Wednesday (Dec 20) from 6pm they’re hosting an anniversary party with plenty of food, drinks and live music from The Real Deal band.
Tickets are RMB 198 and include free flow drinks, free flow Hors d'Oeuvres and a range of dishes like Freshly Shucked Oysters, Steak Sandwiches and Morton's Iconic Sliders. The dress code is 1978 Chicago or black, silver and gold and tickets can be purchased by scanning the QR code in the poster above.
