In this workshop, you’ll make yourself a pair of espadrilles out of fabric. We go at a pace that suits beginners, but more advanced makers can always jump ahead.

You’ll choose from our wide range of fabric and make a custom pair so awesome you’ll be proud to tell people “I made these!”.

We are very excited to launch our 2024-2025 Weekend Classes for Young Coders between the ages of 5 Y.O. to 16 Y.O. and tackle together STEAM challenges!

Tailored for different age groups, our hands-on activities and engaging projects are designed to ignite curiosity, foster analytical thinking, and cultivate innovation from an early age.

#1 We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates with you this year! One of the key changes we’ve made is to our class arrangements. To better fit everyone’s schedules and provide more in-depth learning experiences, we’ve transitioned from a three-session calendar to a two-session arrangement. Each session will now span 15 weeks, giving us more time to dive deeper into each topic and ensure the kids get the most out of every class.

NEW! ROBOTICS COMPETITION COURSES

And here’s something especially exciting for our tech enthusiasts! In addition to our coding & robotics weekend module, we’re thrilled to present two brand-new robotic competition opportunities. If your child is eager to be part of a team, they now have the chance to join the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE and VEX competitions!

These competitions are a fantastic way to challenge themselves from an early age, collaborate with others, and showcase their skills on a bigger stage.

This season, Young Engineers will embark on an exciting journey as they tackle the challenges of the 2024-2025 VEX Robotics Competition, where creativity meets technology.

Competitions and showcases offer an incredibly motivating and engaging way for students of all ages to develop their STEM skills. Collaborating as a team to participate in local, regional, or even global events provides an exciting learning experience that not only ignites students' interest but also creates lasting memories and friendships. In competitions like the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL), students have the opportunity to enhance their collaboration skills and develop the essential teamwork abilities.

What is FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL)?

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) is an international program that engages students in playful and meaningful learning while helping them discover the fun in science and technology. The FLL competition inspires teams to research, build and experiment, and by doing so, they live the entire process of creating ideas, solving problems and overcoming obstacles, while gaining confidence in their abilities to positively use technology.

YCA introduces 7 to 16 Y.O young coders and engineers to the basics of STEM and how to apply their skills in an exciting competition while building the habits of learning, confidence, and teamwork skills along the way.
