Easy Street is Beijing’s newest pop-rock band that specializes in a fun, laid-back style, performing fan-favorite songs you’ll be sure to sing along and dance to! The band is comprised of well-known musicians from the Beijing music scene, including vocalist Steven McKinney (Stevie Mac), keyboardist and vocalist Taylor Hartwell,  drummer and vocalist Taylor Kelly, bass guitarist Timothy Chen, and lead guitarist Barry Allen. Together, they create a truly dynamic sound featuring unique four-part vocal harmonies. Moreno Donadel is an Italian jazz pianist, composer, arranger and educator. Vice President of China Contemporary Music Association, Consultant of China Jazz Association, Distinguished Professor of Modern Music Institute. He is also one of the designated pianists of the Organizing Committee for the 29th Beijing Olympic Games. He has won a number of international and domestic music awards, such as the Licanati Music Award, the Pescara Music and so on.

He graduated from Beijing Institute of Modern Research and Training and studied under jazz drummers Shao Ha, An Xundong, Fan Junyi and Su Chang. He often plays in bars such as East Coast, Jianghu, SMOKEBAR, BRICKS, etc., learning with jazz musicians.

In 2019, he made his debut at Blue Note in Beijing as a keyboardist for JPLAN Youth, and as a guest at JZ-School in Shanghai during the 2021 Jazz Master Tournament. Now actively participate in each stage of the jam session, and with many jazz musicians close communication and cooperation.

However, as the sound became increasingly refined and predictable, the scene began craving something more dynamic and unpredictable, leading to the resurgence of electro. With its broken beats, syncopated snares, and throbbing basslines, electro brings an energetic contrast to minimal’s smooth flow, injecting a sense of playfulness and raw futurism that evokes early Detroit techno and 80s European electronic music.

Pretty Cold is a collective of DJs brought together by a shared love of cold wave, post punk, and EBM and dedicated to carving out a space for dark synth and electro-industrial in the contemporary Chinese soundscape.
