Pinó

The crew behind Nina expanded into the wine world. Pinó is a down-to-earth winery with plenty of space. Wines vary from RMB200 to RMB700 per bottle and they hold a month deal of RMB38 per glass for a selected wine.

One of their spaces is dedicated to artisanal European hotdogs from Champion Mountain and JingA beers on tap. The usual feast of cheese plates (RMB48), cold cuts, foie-gras is also served to complement wine.

Now with two locations this bar is a firm favorite among Beijingers and, thanks to Uday Phalgun and his team, a burger lover's paradise that also specializes in international-style bar grub. With regular drink specials, there's also plenty to wash it all down with.

Deal Beer

Deal Beer is a neat 64sqm space decked out with plush leather stools and sofas for maximum beer-drinking comfort. The taps include brews from Ballast Point, Rogue, Goose Island, and a bunch of domestic brewers (RMB 30-55). Having grown up in hutongs as a beer lover and former manager at Peiping Machine, owner Max Zhou says he opened Deal as a means to bring beer lovers together in a traditional Beijing setting – something that’s getting harder and harder to find.
