Weekend in Nightlife: DJ Coone, Pub Crawl Beijing, Comedy Dim Sum
Go Cubs Go, am I right? While this weekend, in my opinion, should be dedicated to celebrating the Cubs win of the World Series, there's plenty more for all you Cubs haters or non-baseball believers to do.

Nov 4-5: Stuttgart Ballet Romeo and Juliet
Depending on whom you ask, Romeo and Juliet is either the most gag-worthy or most romantic love story ever told. Now, you have a chance to go see the ballet version! One of the world's best ballet companies – The Stuttgart Ballet – will be in Beijing until November 5. RMB 160-880. 7.30pm. NCPA.
Nov 4: DJ Coone
Looking for your ultimate rave this weekend? DJ Coone, rated one of the top 100 DJs in the world, will be making his first appearance in China as part of the opening of China's first Hardstyle label. Originally from Belgium, he recently signed a contract with Steve Aoki's label Dim Mak Records (Aoki also happens to be playing in Beijing on Wednesday, see below). RMB 200. 10pm. ModernSky Lab.
Nov 5: Pub Crawl Beijing
What's better than traveling on a party bus to experience three of Beijing's bars and one club (except the Cubs winning the World Series, of course). The entrance fee gets you transportation, shots at the bars and on the bus, discounted tickets at each venue, and entrance into the final club. RMB 100, RMB 150 (VIP). 9.30pm. Starts at Nanjie Bar.
Nov 5: NTS Live
This London-based music station aims to broadcast old and new music of all genres from all around the globe. Now, they've teamed up with Chinese music label China Social Club, based in Shanghai. This is the first edition of many to bring NTS to Beijing and includes performances by DJ Pei, Demone, Josh Feola, and Guzz. Free. 8pm. Modern Sky Lab. Check out the official website of NTS here.
Nov 5: Comedy Dim Sum
Standup comedy and drinks? Sounds like a great combination. Join a cast of seven of Beijing's best comedians for a night of bite-sized comedy. The only thing that may make this night even better is if they included some actual dim sum with it. RMB 50. 8pm. 4corners.
Heads up: If you're looking to get caked next week, Steve Aoiki will be playing at Sir Teen on Wednesday, November 9. Tickets start at RMB 200.
