Booking Now Open to Host a Table at Chi Fan for Charity 2018

Booking is now open for the 10th edition of Chi Fan for Charity, which will take place in 55 restaurants around Beijing on Nov 10! Excitement for this year's event is palpable, with a quarter of the allocated bookings selling out within an hour of the tickets going live. In order to get in on the action for a good cause, you can book your table by using this link or by scanning the QR code below via WeChat:

(Note: the "login via WeChat function" on EventBank is currently being debugged, but never fear – there's no need to log in to register.)

What is Chi Fan for Charity?
CFFC is a contemporary approach to the charity gala dinner. Taking place at renowned restaurants across the city on the same night, participating restaurants donate a table of 10, providing a special menu with a minimum value of 500. Hosts and guests then buy these tables and the proceeds go directly to the charity. After dinner, all hosts, guests, and sponsors unite at one location for the gala after party. There will also be a raffle draw with all proceeds going to charity. Since 2009, the event has grown year after year, and has even expanded to Shanghai and Hong Kong. This year will be its tenth incarnation in Beijing and with your help, the biggest ever! This year's selected charity is Educating Rural Girls of China, which you read more about here.

How do I book a table?
Tickets are sold by table only. One table host books the table, pays for all 10 seats, and invites their guests. Later, the host decides how to cover the payment (be it seat by seat, or via company sponsorship... or heck, why treat your friends and business associates?)

What restaurants are available?

  1. You will first be asked to place a non-refundable deposit of RMB 1,000 to book a table.
  2. You will then select your top five choices of where you'd like to host.
  3. After first-round registration is closed on Oct 17, you will be assigned a restaurant and requested to pay the balance due.
