This studio tackles several ventures in one huge space, operating as a fabric and home furnishings store, as well as an interior design office. On the top floor, thousands of multi-hued fabrics spill over the tables and shelves – herein lies the heart of the company, which first started importing high-quality textiles in 1998. For home furnishings designed by international and Chinese artists, head down to the lower two floors managed by their partner company O Gallery. The pieces by Western designers look quirky and modern – a chair made out of old patterned shirts goes for RMB 43,100, while barbed wire lamps are RMB 7,500. More traditional Chinese goods are available for purchase on the floor below – the Oriental-style dressers and room dividers look elegant and mdoern, plus the domestic craftsmanship makes them far more affordable.
