
Fitness + water sports = a whole summer of fun
Summer is here and what better way to both cool off and stay healthy than with an outdoor fitness session followed by a dip in the cool water?
Trainyard has teamed up with outdoor lifestyle platform Diverse World Adventures for a series of three outdoor sessions featuring classes from some of our very best Trainyard trainers combined with kayaking and paddleboarding lessons.

Opened in September 2020, Wenyu River Park is Beijing’s “green lung,” sitting at the intersection of Chaoyang, Shunyi, and Changing Districts. The beautiful 30km2 park combines forests, lakes, and rivers, with plenty of space for outdoor activities.
25 July: Morning run + kayaking + picnic lunch

Get your blood pumping with a 5km run through the beautiful surrounds of Wenyu River Park, then cool off with a kayaking session on the water. The run will be led by Mr. Truck (aka Liangzhi Jiang), an expert mountain trail runner who has completed multiple 100km+ runs and a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified coach.
8.15-8.30am: Meet up at Wenyu River Park West Gate 6
8.30-8.40am: Head to the location for the run
8.40-8.55am: Warm up and professional instruction from Mr. Truck
8.55am-9.25am: 5km run
9.25-9.30: Rest
9.30-11.30am: Kayaking (including equipment introduction, instruction, games, competitions, and more)
11.30am-12.30pm: Picnic lunch
1 August: Morning HIIT + SUP + picnic lunch

Start the day with a high octane HIIT class led by Angel Eugenio, then try your hand at super popular water sport SUP. The modern form of SUP, or standup paddleboarding, originated in Hawaii, but people have been using boards and paddles to propel themselves through the water for thousands of years. Not just fun and easy to learn, it’s also a great full-body workout and helps improve balance.

8.40-9.25am: 45-minute HIIT class taught by Angel Eugenio
9.25-9.30: Rest
9.30-11.30am: SUP (including equipment introduction, instruction, games, competitions, and more)
