Very handy service but whenever you can, order from restaurants who deliver on their own because these guys add an extra dimension for screw ups.
Ordered from Tube Station, placed the order online, 20 minutes later, the progress report on the Jinshisong website said our food was ready and being delivered.
20 minutes after that (40 min after we placed the order) they called me to tell me that they didnt have the salad I ordered. (!!?)
They also let me know that one of the options I selected was not "allowed". Although it is an option on their site, apparently you cant add things to 10 inch pizzas.
So even thought I was willing to pay the same amount as it costs to add an ingreient to a 22 inch pizza they refused to put anything else on the pizza I ordered. Makes no damn sense.
After getting off the phone we waited another 25 minutes for our food to arrive (from a restaurant 1km from our house) So our food took more than an hour and 2 things we wanted were not delivered.
Finally, the delivery guy takes our money and walks away with 55kuai change. We ran to the elevator to call him back after realizing the mistake and aked him to see the receipt. "shou ju" he was all pissed off and says "meiyou shouju" so I asked how he knows what our order costs and he angrily pulled out a phone and started cursing while looking through it to find our order... finally it is established that because of the missing salad and extra pizza ingredient, he owes us a lot more change and he returned the money.
What a fu*king stressful way to get dinner.
This is a constant issue for Jinshisong, not the first time we have had problems and it wont be the last because sadly, they are the only site which deliveres from a few of our favorite places. Agh.
