New England Patriots Cheerleaders Return to Beijing Oct 20

Just as a chill settles upon Beijing, here comes an event to heat things up a bit: the return of the New England Patriots Cheerleaders, this Sunday, Oct 20, at the NFL Home Field event.

Members of the Patriots' cheerleading squad have been regular visitors to Beijing, with this trip being their seventh time in China, the time they trained Chinese cheerleaders for beach volleyball matches. This time around, in addition to conducting cheer clinics at local schools, they will also be appearing at Centro at the Kerry Hotel for a special Monday Night Football viewing party on Oct 21.

“We’ve been visiting China for the past six years and I’ve watched our fan base grow,” said New England Patriots Cheerleader Director Tracy Sormanti, who is making the trip. “It’s an amazing feeling to be on the other side of the world and see so many people wearing Patriots jerseys. We hope to continue our travels to China in an effort to increase awareness of the New England Patriots and the NFL and to thank our fans already established there.”

The events are part of a nine-day promotional tour by the cheerleaders, organized by NFL China.
