One Last Supper: the Beijinger Celebrates The Holiday Season

With the first night of Hanukkah Wednesday night, Thanksgiving Thursday night, and a cascade of holiday celebrations between now and the end of the year, we thought we'd share our festive cover as our new issue begins arriving at your favorite Beijing venues. The issue is already available both to read online and for download.

We re-created Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece The Last Supper at Opera Bombana in Parkview Green, photographed by Sharpen Studio. Ironically, another version of Da Vinci's famous painting hangs near the entrance to the restaurant. We gathered 13 of Beijing's best known event and party organizers to fill our table, and amazingly, every single one of them showed up. We are most grateful for their participation.
