Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see Burger Counter anywhere. If its true, it's a damn shame to exclude it...

Re: Nice Buns: Who Makes Beijing's Best Burger?
I have strong feelings about this! But take no offense, we're only talking about opinions of burgers here. My background? A 28 year old New Yorker who's lived in Beijing for almost 3 years and cried over the times I went to places like Blue Frog where they won't even consider an instruction to cook it under medium. This is the place voted no. 1 best burger? Clearly, none of the people I know in Beijing participated in that vote. TGI Friday's happens to actually cook your burger the way you like it most of the time. Fatburger is fast and just hands down uses good, quality beef. For the best though, skip all that because you don't even need to instruct them how to cook it at Frost. They grill it to a juicy perfection and even though having choices is nice - they seem to know best with their double juicy grilled beef on toasted english muffins (not your typical American style burger). Only suggestion for them (don't put too much, if any, salt on the beef as a seasoning because the english muffin's are already quite salty.

Re: Nice Buns: Who Makes Beijing's Best Burger?
Highlights of the first round include close battles for supremacy in the following matches:
Chef Too vs Nola
Switch! vs Village Café
Lush vs Biteapitta
The Big Smoke vs The Stumble Inn
Not really a bad burger in the bunch ... tough call on all of those burgers, will be a shame to see some of them fall in the first round, but fall they must as only 4 of the above 8 will go on
