Tonight marks the first-ever White Collar Boxing event in Beijing. Fights begin at 8pm but there's still tickets if you want them. Get down to the Renaissance in Shuangjing with your finest tuxedo and RMB 900. Eight fights are on the card and two of them feature editors of this very website. It's not-to-be-missed ... for the simple reason that this will never happen again. With the Brawl on the Wall coming just a week after the UFC in Macau, is there a future for such sports in China? Not just yet, according to the Mongolian Wolf.

Concrete news of the upcoming Beijing Ducks season is filtering through. We've still not got official word on anything including where it will tip off – will it now be the MasterCard Center or still the Capital Steel Center? – but the preliminary game dates are below. There is also an official suggestion that you get tickets from www.damai.cn.

The Beijing Marathon has been rescheduled following the recent Party get-together. We're told that registration is now open but our calls to the organizers have gone unanswered. More as soon as we know it.
The Chinese Football Association is moving house. Because of bad feng shui. Of course.
