Oi! Beijing Charity Punk Fest for Half the Sky This Saturday

Nevermind the boll*cks, here's the good news. Beijing's punks are coming together to play a charity concert this Saturday. The money will benefit Half The Sky Children's Orphanage. It's an all-star, one-day-only lineup that they've amassed: Catcher In The Rye, Underbaby's Gao Wei, The Flyx and Discord.

And it's not just great music that they're promising. The event will also feature a Beijing punk rock auction of signed and rare memorabilia as well as a book launch of David O'Dell's Inseparable, which chronicles the origins of the Beijing punk scene. O'Dell will be giving a book talk accompanied by rare photos and rarer tunes.
