New Gung Ho! Pizza Menu Launches Today

Here’s a big slice of cheese-topped news for fans of Gung Ho! Pizza – the Gongti-based restaurant and delivery service launches its new summer menu today.

Highlights include a duo of new pizza toppings, and three new Southeast Asian-inspired summer salads concocted by local Vietnamese chef Jun Trinh, of Banh Mi Now and Luga’s Pho Pho kitchens, and more recently appearing on Chinese telly.

Jun’s new salads are Vietnamese Chicken Salad with roasted pumpkin, sweet potato, spicy grilled chicken and coconut lime vinaigrette; Thai Beef Salad with Asian mushrooms, grilled beef and nuoc mam with spinach and perilla; and - yeah mon - Tropical Salad with pineapple, smoked tofu toasted walnuts and shredded coconut. Two new pizzas are a spicy grilled beef and spinach pesto chicken.

What's your take on the Gung-Ho! pies? I really rate their salads - bit more impressive than their pizzas. Actually I'm a fan of Vineyard Cafe and the lesser-known Twilight when it comes to pizzas.
