Competition: Cook With Us at the Westin Chaoyang!
Beijing’s hotels have done pretty much all they can to make dining experiences interactive. From the near-ubiquitous open kitchens giving you a distant look at what the cooks are up to, and champagne brunches with chefs slicing tuna, carving roast duck and making omelets at “live cooking stations,” to cooking classes and demonstrations, you’d think there’s not much more they could do.
And yet the Westin Chaoyang has a new idea: cooking for your own private dinner party. The hotel’s “Into the Frying Pan” promotion, which is ongoing throughout June and July and beyond, gives parties of six to ten diners the chance to get into the kitchen at Grange and work with chefs to make their own four-course dinner party: cook your food, then sit down and enjoy it.
The regular price for the “Into the Frying Pan” experience is RMB 588+15% per person, but we’ve got two places to give away! The good people at the Westin Chaoyang are setting up a one-off session for two of our editors and four readers to go along to Grange for an evening of cooking, wining and dining. If you missed the chance to win two places on our “Into the Frying Pan” party in our June issue, we’re giving you one more chance to win. All you need to do is tell us:
What is the name of the Westin Chaoyang’s award-winning Sunday brunch?
Email your answers to win@thebeijinger.com. The closing date for entries is noon (12pm) on Tuesday, June 21. Good luck!
