“Imperishable Flame” (不灭之火) by Ego-Fall. It’s the heavy metal sound from horseback; every one of those guys is burning in the eternal fire.

“Yellow Mountain” (黄色山峰) by Dolan. Khoomei plus guitar – every part of the song is rendered so vividly and incisively.

“Cowboy Way” by Hellyeah. The tone of the guitar is thick and cohesive; it makes people let go; the power cannot be suppressed.

“In This River” by Zakk Wylde. To the memory of his good friend Dimebag Darrell, a talented guitarist. He passed away and like a running river he will never come back.

Mou Chenggang is the manager of local metal label Dime Records, which celebrates its one-year anniversary on Mar 12 at 13 Club.
