Bang! Bang! Pizza Livens Up the Shuangjing Scene

Bang! Bang! wasn’t originally intended to be a bar, but this two-floor space looks sure to be a hit with those living in the immediate vicinity. You can imagine a crowd starting the night here with a bite – decent thin-crust pizzas (RMB 50), salads and other dishes – before heading uptown. However, the warm vibes, and live sport on the TV, give you every reason to stay.

The cocktails are well-mixed and good value at RMB 30. Try the caipirinha to get you started. There’s Guinness (RMB 40), Stella (RMB 25) and Beijing Draft (RMB 10) on tap.

Despite what some may predict, a Shuangjing turf war is unlikely. The Brick will retain its core crowd, although for those living west of Shuangjing Qiao, Bang! Bang! presents a compelling alternative drinking spot. Most importantly, it’s an option, and right now that’s what Shuangjing needs.

Pizza delivery should be available from early December.
