Dali Su 大里素

It makes sense that Dali Courtyard would try to replicate its formula, but as any music producer will tell you, it's the sophomore effort that's tricky. Dali Su sticks with the set menu concept, but it aims to be higher-end. The cold starters were good opening numbers, but after that came a trail of hits and misses. With fewer tables, zen decor and a dramatic tree inside the courtyard, you're set up for a rarefied meal. If you brought an out-of-town visitor now, they'll still be impressed. But at this price point, the rest of us might wait until the food catches up with the surroundings.
