Great place for New Years Eve dinner! We enjoyed a full selection of fresh sashimi, giant oysters, king crab legs and shrimps, roast sucking pig, melt in your mouth filet mignon, full portions of fois gras, pastry puff cream of mushroom soup, two bottles of good dry white wine, cheese cake and fresh coffee. For an indulgent gourmet meal of delectables for 1/2 to 1/3 the price of other comparable buffets (including alcohol)at 128rmb Space Cafe can't be beat. A pianist plays accompaniment to the meal and the decor is inviting and contemporary. Downsides: The sushi rolls looked good but were not. They were stuffed with eggs or bananas instead of fish. Once the pig was gone, that was it. You have to go outside to smoke. Although some people like that I suppose. Still I woke up dreaming about the restaurant and the fireworks from the night before.
