Had high expectations of getting some authentic, tasty Mexican food here.
It's not too bad, but I won't go back.
Nachos were blah and over-cooked, burnt cheese making the chips stay together in a big clump. Only addition to the burnt cheese was jalepenos. No sour cream, guacomole, and the only salsa was a small portion that came with the complimentary chips before you order.
Gordita (sp?) was crumbly and dull tasting.
My dining companion ordered a bizarre enchilada type dish with chocolate sauce. It was not good, however the waitress did warn us that it had a peculiar taste.
Cocktails were big but not very strong. 60 quai for a long island.
The service was good, if a bit too attentive. Very eager to "recommend" things.
Overall I was certainly underwhelmed and I'll stick with Luga's for my quasi-Mexican fare.
