Review of Pho at Beijing
1

I went with a friend and we tried the chicken and beef pho. We got soup, but whatever it was, it wasn't pho. The chicken pho had almost no meat, and the beef pho was made with thinly sliced but very poor quality, leathery beef. It came with sides of fish sauce (definitely unwelcome in my case, although some people like it), boiled peanuts and peanut sauce (I'm allergic to both and neither belong anywhere near pho), and some hot Chinese peppers. No Sriracha sauce, which I've come to expect with pho anywhere - it's really strange not to eat pho with this. Spice can cover up a lot of sins, but lacking this companion, it was obvious: the broth was absolutely tasteless. Basically, it was hot water.

Service wasn't friendly, but wasn't bad or inefficient. We got what we ordered and it was delivered fast.

The one thing I can say for this place is that it's cheap. It should be, but the food should be a lot better as well. Until this improves, not recommended.
