As a former Seattleite, The Bridge Cafe feels just like home. And why not? It's non-smoking (well, at least on one floor), lots of generously stuffed bookshelves, plenty of power for laptops, free WiFi, and great coffee. It doesn't stop there--the pasta is hand-made on site, and they serve a fantastic American breakfast.

Sure, the prices are about the same as you'd pay in the US, or maybe a little more. But it's so worth it! You can sit for hours with your laptop without being chased away. The staff is friendly, and even speaks a little bit of English.

Definitely my favorite place in Wudakhou, and among my favorite in Beijing.
