Stumble Inn is the first place in the Village that I'd say is really dedicated as a bar more than a restaurant. I like going for a drink in Union, and Andy the manager's done well to develop the bar side of the place - in the beginning you'd never have believed it could work as a bar. The Blue Frog terrace is great for the summer, and it's grown on me as a place to drink even in the winter, although it can feel a bit soulless. But Stumble Inn's the first proper place to drink. I'm not including Club Le.
Stumble Inn's got enough TVs to make it good for watching sport, although they say they'll turn the sound down on Saturday nights to catch more of a party crowd. There's an amazing beer selection, with lots of bottled beers and a few draft. Prices are fair enough. Haven't tried the food yet. How much of a favorite this one becomes will depend on the kind of crowd that comes. The location isn't the easiest to work, but it's really just a minute's walk from the already-popular Union and Blue Frog, so it should do alright.

Re: Decent pub in the Village
Abysmal service even when empty (but the owners like Reggae).
