We tried Peppe's on Saturday night as we were in Sanlitun and wanted to have pizza.
First, I have to say that the service is very good. Servers all have good English skills and made suggestions about sauces and even allowed us to switch the Cajun chicken in the Caesar Salad to Salmon.
Regarding the food, we started with the Nacho chips which were not tasty and served with uninspiring salsa. The seafood soup which was to contain crab, shrimp, salmon, and mostly void of those items, except for the fake crab. The caesar salad although being served with the salmon was fine, but still we prefer the salad at Annie's.
Now for the pizza, we ordered the "Stars and Stripes" which is half ham and half pepperoni. The pizza is the pan pizza similar to what would be served at Pizza Hut and Papa Johns but probably not as greasy. As there was only one small piece of meat on each slice the pizza looked like a blob of cheese. It certainly is not the worst pizza we have had in Beijing but I doubt we will go back there as there are some better choices.
In closing, service very good, premises clean, food average.
