Their stores were better when they first opened. Their response to economic difficulties has appeared to be to make all their pretzels thinner (which means they aren't soft because they cook harder). This is only going to chase away what customers they did have.
If you actually like hot, fresh pretzels, I can give you a recipe for making it at home. It's good, not too much work, and a lot fresher (and more personally adaptable) than anything at Auntie's.

Re: The harder they fall...
I was wondering if it was just me or the pretzels got thinner and more leathery. Now, I know it's not just me and why the pretzels are thinner and leathery. More like pretzel jerky the last time I ate one and the lemonade tasted stale.

Re: The harder they fall...
Thank you for the feedback.
We have not purposefully made the pretzels smaller to save on cost, nor cut back on any of the high quality raw ingredients. We will look into the issue immediately and will work to resolve it as soon as possible.
Our goal is to offer the same products/ service as the ones experienced elsewhere in the world. Sorry for your experience and I hope that you can give us another try as we work to live up to your expectations.
If you have other suggestions, please email us directly at pretzels@ifgchina.com.
Warm regards,
Auntie Anne's Management
