This place is dangerously close to my house. Awesome atmosphere, excellent service, and WAFFLES like I haven't had in ages! A great place to spend a weekend morning reading or leisurely getting work done over a cup of coffee. I recently made the mistake of discovering how delicious the chocolate shake is. If you have poor self-control, I suggest staying far away from it.
The food is really good, the specials are generous and decently priced, and I like that this is the answer to those who groan that without foreign management, restaurants are guaranteed to have sloppy food and service. Sure, the salad has a creamier dressing than I would normally prefer and the Cheese Toast looks...creative, but the rest is "foreign" food done right without throwing corn, mayonnaise, or hotdog chunks all over something and calling it food. It's great! The coffee is good and cheap, waffles are delicious, and the shakes -- careful what you get yourself into.
