We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English-speaking Children's Yoga Instructor to join our team.
**Job Description:**
As a Children's Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and leading yoga classes for children aged [5 to 12]. You will create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment where children can explore yoga, develop mindfulness, and build physical strength and flexibility. Your classes will incorporate age-appropriate yoga poses, breathing exercises, games, and storytelling to keep children engaged and excited about yoga.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and teach yoga classes for children, ensuring a balance of fun and learning.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
- Adapt yoga practices to suit the needs and abilities of different age groups.
- Incorporate mindfulness and relaxation techniques to help children develop focus and emotional regulation.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children's progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized yoga space.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in children's yoga.
**Requirements:**
- Certified yoga instructor with a specialization in children's yoga (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
- Experience working with children in a teaching or coaching capacity.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate yoga practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for yoga and a desire to share its benefits with children.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Additional certifications in mindfulness, meditation, or child education.
- Experience in creating and leading themed yoga classes or workshops for children.
- Familiarity with bilingual or multicultural teaching environments.
