This vintage car museum is actually a private museum with a limited but very impressive collection of rides, including from old Red Star series, to internationally distinguished vehicle brands such as Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz. While you don't see many of these beauties rolling around the streets these days, we think that Beijing's nouveau-riche, with their Peppa Pig-stickered, matte-pink Lamborghini's could learn a thing or two about style by cruising through this museum.

The 2,000sqm Manchu Folk Culture Museum sits at the foot of the mountain in the north end of Manchu town in Huairou district. It hosts over 900 post-Han dynasty artifacts, including 500 collected from locals.

1897 Wine Bar offers a selection of wine and sharing plates and specially crafted dips to enjoy in the relaxing ambiance of Yanqi Lake.

Waterside is an upscale all-day dining restaurant as part of Yanqi Island Hotel managed by Kempinski.

Located on the top floor of Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, overlooking Yanqi Lake, View’s Bar’s contemporary design provides an ideal ambiance for a relaxing cocktail a long day at work.

The bar also serves a selection of whiskeys and wines as well as canapés to snack on. From 8pm onwards guests can enjoy entertainment from the hotel's in-house DJ.

Enjoy the tastes of royal Chinese recipes at Magnolia, a modern, stylish Chinese restaurant that uses various Chinese cooking techniques to create cuisines from Huaiyang, Sichuan, Canton, and Beijing.

The extensive à la carte menu offers a variety of authentic, high-end dishes, as well as local delights. Signature dishes include abalone, bird’s nest, seafood, barbecue, clay pots, and dim sum.
